Supper club – Ghazal

Last night we went to Ghazal for supper club. It is a North Indian restaurant at Coachman’s crossing in Bryanston and the food is simply delicious! The restaurant is stylish but relaxing with good service and fabulous food. It was full so I am glad we booked. We had samoosas for starters which is not your normal flat triangular ones but rather big, fat pyramid looking ones. I had the Lamb Jal Frezi for main which is tender pieces of lamb in a thick tomato based sauce with pieces of green peppers and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had some peshawari naan (which is a light naan bread sprinkled with coconut and nuts) and it just completed the meal for me. I absolutely love their food. They have interesting desserts that I would love to try next time. The meal was very filling and we could not finish our mains so desserts was tempting but most of us had to decline it  but there will definitely be a next time. Yum!
